Designer NADINE FIDELMAN was born in Philadelphia, PA and has lived in Honolulu, Hawaii, San Diego, Malibu and Santa Monica, CA. She received a Bachelor of Science and Master’s Degree in teaching. Nadine taught elementary-age children and peer teachers for 15 years. In 1996, Nadine and her husband moved to the Asheville, North Carolina area to raise their young son.

After retiring early from teaching, Nadine took basic and advanced wire wrapping classes with a local artist. She quickly took her art in a completely different direction  with metal-smithing classes at “A Jewelers Way” in Clyde, NC and at the John C. Campbell Folk School in Brasstown, NC, as well as precious metal clay (“PMC”) classes at Chevron Beads in Asheville, NC. She was Rio certified in PMC at Two Gather Beads in Anderson, SC and has completed the PMC Connection Level 2 Certification at Arrowmont in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Nadine has taught classes in wire wrapping pendants and bracelets at various jewelry studios and bead shops.  For the past few years, Nadine has also been working with precious metal clay, and bronze clay, and has been combining PMC and wire wrapping. All of her pendants, brooches, bracelets and necklaces are one of a kind. She enjoys the challenge of turning your keepsake pieces into a fabulous piece of jewelry.
