When I think of the word ‘Success’, the first think I think of is the business version of success. You know, businessmen in dark suits with their briefcases (do people use those anymore?), looking very important, very money oriented.
But when I think a little more, I think about what success means to me, which is most definitely not being dressed in a business suit. I think more of satisfaction with life, the people I surround myself with, and the way I spend my time.
They say that the road to success is always under construction. Well, let’s start talking about what rocks we’ll put in our pavement.
For this month’s blog, I’m going to dig a little deeper into both types of success. So let’s start by talking about some of the synonyms for success: Prosperity, happiness, and achievement are just a couple of the words that might jump to the top of your list.
So, thinking about prosperity, you might find yourself jumping directly to wealth. There’s no judging…I did, too. A couple of gemstones that speak directly to prosperity and success with a financial bent are Jade, Quartz, Citrine, and Tiger’s Eye.
Citrine is a dynamo in the realm of supporting success, since it increases self-esteem, shields from negativity, and helps with clarity of thought. It is said that if you’re in sales, keep a citrine in your cash drawer and watch the orders fly in! It’s also known to help with digestion and relieves depression with its calming energy.
For eons, jade has been used and referred to as a lucky stone and promotes prosperity and abundance. It’s also a balancing and healing stone, supporting our bodies through healing after surgeries. Jade comes in many colors, including black, blue, brown, red, lavender, purple, and of course, green. According to this website, each color of jade has its own metaphysical properties.
Jadeite, a rarer and more expensive type of jade.
If there’s any stone that brings clarity and amplifies your intention, this stone is it. Whether your intention is to succeed in business or to find success in other ways, quartz is your guy…or girl…whatever. Quartz comes in many colors (take a look at so many kitchen countertops these days), but the one we’re referencing today is clear, which is probably why it brings clarity. Either way, I think it’s pretty; the energy it brings is an added bonus.
Custom Jewelry: Smoky Quartz with a Star of David…clear quartz with attitude.
Energetically, tiger’s eye aids with motivation and willpower to make your goals come to fruition. And if stress comes your way while you’re making those goals come true, tiger’s eye is good for its calming energy during hectic times. Set your goal, grab your tiger’s eye, and off you go!
May your goals for success be written down and your gemstones be at hand (or ears, or neck).
Until next month,
